I discovered breathwork through my yoga practice. At first, I found it challenging, especially since I have always had difficulties with my lungs. When I began to understand the relationship between breath, the nervous system, and mind-body work, everything clicked. I realised how simple breathing techniques could influence stress, mood, and relaxation, and breathwork quickly became my most powerful tool for self-regulation and healing.

Walking, paying attention to the moment and what I can see, a Hyde Park stroll before my work day has been my favourite ritual.

That we all carry our own things, and without the tools to process them, they slowly build up and fill our reservoir. The body holds what the mind cannot resolve, and over time that accumulation shows up as tension, reactivity, or disconnection. This is why I am so passionate about this work, so we can all live more present, full, and purposeful lives.

I discovered breathwork by accident in 2021 during a day trip to Rottnest Island. After an hour session on the beach with my friend Meg, I was amazed by how calm yet energised I felt, and I was instantly hooked. Since then, breathwork has become a daily practice that has transformed every part of my life. I’ve always loved movement , and Pilates has been a natural extension of that passion. I use both movement and breathwork as medicine, and I love sharing them through my signature Burn & Breathe class.

I have so many, but it’s got to be loco love chocolates.

Pilates shows me every day that I’m stronger than I think, both on and off the mat. Breathwork gives me perspective and reminds me how big the world is, how small my worries really are, and how deeply connected we all are. Together, they remind me I can do hard things and that I’m part of something much bigger.

I discovered it when I stood on the mat in my very first yoga class. Ever since then I’ve been passionate about the power and benefits of it and am constantly curious in the teachings of it.

Depends on the class. Most of my classes at the moment are much gentler, so Chill, slow, zen

I have many but the stand out - Breathwork. The breath is our reason for existence and without a steady breath life can feel out of balance.

I discovered breathwork at Vitality House while attending classes as a member and quickly fell in love with the practice. During a particularly challenging time in my life, breathwork became my anchor. Through consistent self-practice, I decided to pursue teacher training. I have since found a genuine passion for breathwork and supporting others in discovering its benefits.

By controlling your breath, you can control your mind, your thoughts, and your emotions. And once you can do that, everything gets easier.

I found Yoga by following a feeling I couldn’t name, the same way I approached most of my life, although now I know what that feeling really is.
What started as relaxation/stretching turned into alchemy. It added structure to my chaos, breath to my ambition, and a quiet, unshakable confidence that hits deeper than muscle.

Control isn’t about holding tight; it’s about choosing when to let go. And sometimes the most dangerous thing you can do is TRUST yourself fully.

I’d practised yoga on and off for years, but I always felt this pull to go deeper. That’s what led me into my teacher training, and honestly, it opened up a whole new world for me. Yoga has added so much to my life: more awareness, more calm, more understanding of myself. It’s such a beautiful spiritual practice, and I’m still learning from it every single day.

-
Slow mornings. Giving yourself a peaceful moment to check in before the day actually begins. It doesn’t need to be anything dramatic, just no screens, a quiet moment to prioritise yourself, and choosing to direct your energy where it feels good.
-
Chocolate, especially a sweet treat after dinner.
-
It has definitely taught me “the art of noticing” - the signals my body gives me before my mind catches up.
